Imagine your career at Catholic Health Initiatives!The Supervisor coordinates the activities in the Billing Dept. to ensure timely billing of patient accounts.  Ensure cash optimization and collection of accounts receivable is functioning to fullest capacity.


Coordinates all billing and follow-up initiatives, including report generation and distribution to be conducted by billing staff.  Adheres to all financial policies outlined by CHI National and MBO Finance, holding billable staff accountable to processes and timelines


Monitors and reports on all accounts receivable key performance indicators to the Director of Finance for Homecare.


Resolves problems involving patient accounts; coordinates with clinical leadership to implement and monitor processes to insure consistency of information required for compliant claim processing.


Team Lead, Supervisor, Manager, Leader

Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration or related field preferred.  Five years applicable work experience considered commensurate of a bachelor's degree.


Five years supervisory experience in healthcare related business office environment preferred.  Experience in homecare/hospice billing strongly preferred.  Knowledge on Cerner Beyond Now a plus.


Must have ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, payer contracts or governmental regulations.  Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of business community.
