Job Requirements

Education / Accreditation / Licensure (required & preferred):

  • Graduate from a school accredited of Radiologic Technology, OR Graduate of AMA Accredited Sonography Program, OR Graduate of accredited School of Diagnostic Medical Sonography and/or equivalent clinical experience.
  • Certification in at least one ultrasound modality is required.  General certification from ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography) may be considered depending on experience.  Cardiac or vascular credential is required within 6 months of hire if general certification is accepted.
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)  in Sonography (S) , Certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) RVT (Registered Vascular Technician) or RCDS (Registered Cardiac Diagnostic Sonographer)  required  OR  certified by Cardiac Credentialing International :  RVS Registered Vascular Specialist or RCS Registered Cardiac Sonographer.   
  • BLS within 30 days of employment.

Experience (required and preferred):

Previous experience preferred.
