Education and Licensure Required:

*Bachelor’s degree

Minimum Experience:

*Two (2) years of experience in HR, Talent Acquisition or Sales or a minimum of five (5) years of experience combining Recruitment and Customer Service or Sales

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

*Must be able to understand and communicate employee benefit plans, HR policies, and procedures and practices
*Sound interviewing and evaluation techniques which demonstrate good judgment and adherence to applicable laws and guidelines
*Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with hospital personnel, applicants and outside agencies
*Must have excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, this may be demonstrated through pre-employment testing if necessary


With some direction all Recruiters will fulfill and demonstrate competency in the basic responsibilities of a Talent Acquisition (TA) Professional for CHI St. Luke’s Health, these responsibilities and competencies include, but are not limited to:

1. Use behavioral based interview techniques to evaluate and recommend candidates for selection.
2. Demonstrate competent and compliant use of the organizations current HRIS technology including the current Applicant Tracking System (ATS), associated systems and processes.
3. Guide candidates and hiring managers through the hiring and onboarding process, keeping all internal and external parties informed at all stages of the process with clear and timely communication.
4. Ability to research, interpret and articulate organizational policy as related to TA and hiring.
5. Consistently and creatively source candidates based on traditional and progressive methodologies.
6. Articulate and implement Recruitment strategy and tactics for their assigned areas.
7. Partner effectively with the Sr. Recruiters and Sourcing Specialist to develop strategies for hard to fill or niche positions.
8. Represent the organization positively at internal and external Recruitment events.
9. Demonstrate the ability to manage clients, client expectations and proactively address potential client concerns as TA Consultants.
10. Demonstrate a very high level of professionalism and high touch customer service to all internal and external clients as well as other HR Partners.
11. Support the Organization’s commitment to being an Equal Opportunity Employer.
12. Partner effectively with Human Resource Directors (HRDs) and Human Resource Business Partners (HRBPs) to actively staff their areas and represent the TA Center Of Excellence (COE) positively.
13. Consistently and thoughtfully deliver the organization’s compensation philosophy.
14. Use sound judgment in reviewing candidate’s applications, work history, disclosures and background checks; involving additional HR Partners as necessary.
15. Participate in and occasionally lead Market and Division projects; Recruiters should lead process level projects.
16. Recruiters may participate in the onboarding of new HR and TA team members.
17. Consistently meet expectations on manager, candidate and HR partner surveys when conducted.
18. Meet expectations on Enterprise or Division recruitment metrics.
