MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


Education and Licensure Required:


*Bachelor’s Degree


Minimum Experience:


*One (1) year related experience, with an understanding of general strategy, marketing and planning needs, and healthcare trends


Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


*Demonstrated excellent client consulting and project management skills
*Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office
*Attention to detail and strong analytical ability
*Able to work within a matrix organizational structure with many stakeholders

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES


1. Supports data acquisition and analysis for strategic planning process, service line and key strategic projects, medical staff development Planning, strategic planning reviews, corporate development, and other strategic and financial planning related processes
2. Utilizes a variety of planning and financial tools including Truven Health, Advisory Board, Sg2, and other decision support resources; Provides information and analysis of business opportunities, including demographic trends, health care utilization, and health care finance (payer) data
3. Accesses appropriate data sources to complete market, competitor, and other analysis necessary for development of environmental assessments, as well as business plan development
4. Develop written reports/presentations, and make oral presentations of analytic results to clients as needed
5. Interact with system management to provide strategic analysis relating to the overall healthcare industry as well as inpatient, physician, and non-acute aspects of the marketplace
6. Provides coordination and support for preparation, review, and evaluation of capital business plans
