As a therapist, the Lead Clinician is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of patients referred to the facility.  This includes patient evaluation, development and implementation of an appropriate treatment plan, delivery of treatment services, and comprehensive discharge planning.  The Lead Clinician functions as an effective team member and contributes to the development and achievement of department and organizational goals and objectives.  In addition, the Lead Clinician functions as an extension of the Manager/Director providing leadership for day-to-day operations of the facility as outlined in the job description.

Required Experience:  Minimum two years recent clinical experience in an environment commensurate with the practice setting and programmatic needs of the facility. CPR/BLS required within 30 days of hire (ProCPR or AHA course only).


Licensure:  Licensed or eligible in the Commonwealth of Kentucky or State of Indiana, as appropriate to the facility.


Skills:  Clinical skills required vary based on practice setting and programmatic needs of the facility.  Effective time management.  Effective oral and written communication skills.  Demonstrates potential to accept additional responsibilities commensurate with the job description.


Equipment:  Computers, therapy modalities, therapy exercise equipment, therapy diagnostic and testing equipment.
