It takes a highly talented nurse to care for any patient population while simultaneously running the operational components of his or her unit. The RN Nurse Manager for 3 South at Our Lady of Peace will apply their proven clinical and leadership abilities to run this unit efficiently and effectively. 


3 South cares for pediatric and adolescent patients from ages 12 - 18 with Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities (MR/DD). This unit serves patients who often have developmental disabilities, autism, brain injuries, suffer from fetal alcohol syndrome or other behavioral issues. They often require support with activities of daily living (ADLs).


This nursing leadership role is responsible for 3 South’s operational success on a round the clock basis. A few specific areas of responsibility include fiscal management, staff development, and resource management with the ultimate goal of achieving quality and safe patient care.

We are proud to offer a variety of care options for patients including inpatient services, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programming for children, adolescents, and adults.


§  Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited Nursing program. Masters of Science (MSN) preferred

§  Active license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky with enhanced 

§  3 year RN Experience including 5 years leadership experience.

§  Basic Life Support (BLS) required
