Job Summary:

  • Responsible for preparing the AR reserve calculations and related close analytics, producing various Net Revenue/Reimbursement analysis, and maintaining the RCA valuation tool.
  • Reports directly to the Net Revenue Manager

Key Activities and Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the preparation of the A/R reserve calculations, including contractuals, Bad Debt and Charity;
  • Produces the monthly close schedules related to net revenue and net AR;
  • Assists in preparing for the annual financial audit as it relates to net A/R and net revenue
  • Prepares various analysis specific to net revenue performance;
  • Assists in creating the annual net revenue budgets.
  • Assists in maintaining and administering accounts receivable valuation tool (RCA).
  • Assists in the implementation of the RCA tool to include developing mapping tables, participating in implementation meetings.
  • Participate in the preparation of the A/R reserve calculations within RCA.
  • Prepares analysis specific to net revenue performance as reported on interim/annual financial statements
  • Assists Manager in initiating and improving processes and procedures to enhance productivity and efficiency
  • Builds rules in proration to net down AR
  • Update and maintain government and commercial contract terms in the proration system

Education / Accreditation / Licensure:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • CPA and health care industry preferred


  • One to three years of related experience, including – healthcare reimbursement/net revenue or Accounting/Finance experience.
  • Experienced with accounting and/or financial analysis.
  • Skilled in information systems technology builds including the manipulation of data in Meditech, Epic or PCON Star
  • Experience working with complex and sophisticated concepts.
