Minimum Qualifications:

Master's degree is required. Bachelors or Master degree must be in nursing

RN licensure in Nebraska required

 

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Master’s degree in nursing, healthcare administration or related field.  If Master’s degree is not in nursing, must hold a BSN.

  • Must possess strong knowledge/application of systems framework, excellent strategic thinking skills, demonstrated resource, management and stewardship skills, strong team. orientation, strong customer-focus, demonstrated ability to lead/implement change activities, demonstrated skills in influencing through relationships, excellent analytical thinking skills and excellent oral and written communication skills.  

  • Knowledge of the principles, practices, standards, techniques, protocols and tools/equipment relating to clinical operations in a healthcare environment.

  • Ability to plan, direct and evaluate the work of subordinate management staff, and to oversee the activities of managers with a matrixed relationship.

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations as required by the duties of the position.

  • 8-10 years of progressively responsible related work experience that would demonstrate attainment of the requisite job knowledge/abilities, including four years in a supervisory or management capacity in a healthcare delivery organization.
