MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

·       Current certification as a Paramedic (PM) in the State of Iowa with Iowa Critical Care Paramedic (CCP) Endorsement within 2 years of employment.

·       Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider certification. Acceptable credentialing bodies and certifications include American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer and American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers

·       Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) 

·       Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population served must be obtained within the first 3 months of hire.

·       TNCC for ED and Critical Care within 6 months of hire
