We know our guests appreciate that, and so do we.  If you are an experienced, high quantity Cook with a passion for tickling taste buds, we need to talk.

What you’ll do:
  • Plan and prepare food from scratch to set menus for both retail and patient services
  • Enjoy work life balance- 8 hour shifts
  • Collaborate with team in planning, preparation, portioning, and storage of  food
  • Exercise quality control, including portion sizes and temperature standards
  • Clean and inspect galley equipment, kitchen appliances, and work areas to ensure cleanliness and functional operation
  • Assists in food product evaluation, test trays, and environmental sanitation inspections
  • Expect to be scheduled a couple of times a month

  • 4+ years of experience in scratch cooking in a high volume setting
  • Washington state Food Handler permit
  • Recognizes importance of dietary restrictions including special diets and allergens
  • Vocational training courses in large-quantity cooking
  • Previous cooking experience in a healthcare setting
