The Corporate Responsibility Program (CRP) Contract Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the compliance contracting process in accordance with CHI’s policies and procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Contract Coordinator, working with CRP management and the Entity Legal Services Group (LSG) Representative, facilitates contract development and ensures that all actions have been taken as required by Legal Policy No. 9:
  • coordinates contract document development and process;
  • creates contracting workflows, procedures, checklists and other efficiency tools;
  • performs timely and accurate contract review as required; and
  • ensures that fully executed contracts are signed and archived in the contracts management system.
  • Coordinates the contracting process within the organization and between the organization and CHI as required.
  • Facilitates contract intake and required approvals as part of the contracting process.
  • Researches issues that may impact contracts and reports results as appropriate.
  • Maintains the contracting system database and controls access to information.
  • Assists with input of data into the contract database, follow up for upcoming contract renewals and expirations, distribution of contract packets, and maintenance of contract files.
  • Conducts contract research and provides information as needed.
  • Participates in the review, revision, education, and implementation of contract management policies and procedures.
  • Serves as a contract’s compliance resource.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

Education / Accreditation / Licensure (required & preferred):

  • Associate’s Degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
  • Preferred field of study: business finance, law, health care administration or related health care field.
  • Paralegal accreditation preferred.

Experience (required and preferred):

  • Position requires 1 to 3 years of experience in health care contracting or related area.
  • Must have good knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations regarding physician self-referral, fraud and abuse, and tax exemption.
