Education / Accreditation / Licensure (required & preferred): 

  • Pharm D. degree from accredited college of pharmacy
  • Kentucky State Board of Pharmacy Pharmacist license
  • MBA preferred

Experience (required and preferred): 

  • Seven years  (7) years of healthcare or payer or other managed care business experience
  • Five (5) years of leadership experience
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee and positively impact a pharmaceutical services and cost management business plan.
  • Demonstrated ability to train providers and colleagues on healthcare pharmaceutical data and provider education (sales).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage the needs and outcomes of a multidisciplinary matrix team.
  • Demonstrates a solid understanding of the business and financial considerations of a healthcare organization.
  • 5 years experience working for a managed care company, PBM, payor or CIN/ACO.
  • Managed care and client contracting experience.
  • Familiarity with the health industry including providers and vendors in the area.
