High School diploma or equivalent


Required Minimum Experience

Computer use and business related phone experience

Computer skills, knowledge of medical terminology and scheduling practices is required.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities


1.      Ability to examine documents for accuracy and completeness

2.      Ability to process patients and public inquiries with poise and efficiency

3.      Ability to recognize, evaluate and resolve problems.

4.      Basic computer data entry, filing, spelling, telephone etiquette skills.

5.      Ability to organize and prioritize tasks

6.      Able to work under pressure

7.      Maintain a pleasant personality and speaking voice when speaking to patients and team members

8.      Ability to effectively respond to dissatisfied customers

9.      Maintain a positive and professional manner at all times

10.   Responsible for oral and written communication in an accurate, clear and concise manner to patients and team members


PREFERRED Education and/or Experience

Prefer a minimum of two years office/secretarial experience in a medical facility.
