If you’re a Cardiac Sonographer in Tacoma, odds are you’re probably already working full time- and we think that’s awesome! We would like to remind you variety is the spice of life and we would love to have you occasionally moonlight with us- PRN.

We can’t begin to describe how much we value our Sonographers! They have a pretty huge job. Our talented group of imaging professionals use their skills to ensure other healthcare team members receive the information needed to fast track care plans allowing us to offer a higher quality of care to our patients and the communities we serve. Long story short, we need more Echo Cardiac Sonographers to love! If you have a passion for imaging and helping others, it’s time to connect (perhaps moonlight) with us!

What you’ll do:
  • Produce two-dimensional cardiac ultrasonic recordings to evaluate hemodynamics of the heart, its valves, and related blood vessels
  • Perform ultrasound procedures, stress echo’s, bubble studies and contrast echo’s
  • Ensure optimal diagnostic quality of patient test results and confirm diagnostic equipment is functioning properly
  • Deliver patient care to all age groups
  • Enjoy your work

  • Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound / Echo Sonography Program
  • Experience in Cardiac Ultrasound or Cardiac Sonography
  • Current registration by ARDMS, or current certification by Cardiovascular Credentialing International as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)
  • Echo Tech Non-Registered: Employees without ARDMS registration (but meet the qualifications for the “core” job) must be assigned to this level and will have a period of one year from the date of hire to obtain it
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
