·         Undergraduate degree is required, master’s degree in a quantitative field such as math, statistics, computer science, economics, or other related field is preferred.

·         3-4 years of experience or proven ability working as an analyst in the healthcare industry.


Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience developing informatics/analytics reporting solutions and summarizing statistics/outcomes.

  • Working knowledge of at least one Database Query Language (such as SQL) and at least one type of data management/visualization software such as SAS, Tableau, or Microsoft Access.
  • Experience in data mining and compilation, statistical analysis, and data transformation/manipulation.

  • Expertise in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel—PivotTables, linked worksheets, graphing and other reporting presentation features, PowerPoint).

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrates organization skills.
  • Ability to work self-directed and in work groups.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and security requirements as it relates to healthcare data
