What you’ll need:

 

·         Graduate of a two to four year, college based, AMA approved school of Respiratory Therapy

·         Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care as a RRT

·         Licensed by the State of Nebraska with a Respiratory Care Practitioner License or Iowa Department of Health with a Respiratory Care Practitioner license

·         BLS (Basic Life Support with American Heart Association)

·         ACLS or ACLS instructor certification is required within 3 months of hire date

·         PALS (Pediatric Cardiac Life Support) or PALS instructor certification required within 6 months (dependent of patient population served)

·         NRP (Neonatal Resuscitations Program) completed within 6 months of hire (dependent of patient population served)


Nicotine Policy

CHI Health (Nebraska) has implemented a nicotine free work policy and will consider only qualified nicotine free candidates. As of March 1, 2019, cotinine (nicotine) will be added to the list of substances screened for during the post offer, pre-employment testing for all external job candidates offered employment. A positive result for cotinine (nicotine) will eliminate eligibility for employment consideration.
