  • Current knowledge of principles and practices associated with healthcare quality assessment, culture of safety and continuous improvement.  

  • Ability to abstract, analyze, trend and identify data to make recommendations for process improvements in a professional manner related to quality and patient satisfaction metrics.

  • Requires a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as a high level of knowledge around statistics with the ability to perform statistical analysis.   

  • Possess strong communication, facilitation and teaching skills to work collaboratively with physicians, staff and other external organizations.

  • Demonstrates the ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to work in with a high degree of independence, flexibility and in a self-directed manner.
  • Demonstrates effective organizational and planning skills; along with being highly detail-oriented. 

EDUCATION:  Minimum of Associate Degree


EXPERIENCE: Preferred experience in quality, nursing and/or healthcare is highly desirable.


CERTIFICATION: Prefer Certified Healthcare Quality Professional (CPHQ) status, or willingness to obtain after employment.
