Knowledge & Skills:

 
  1. Demonstrated experience in development and successful implementation of communication strategy.

  2. Well-developed expertise in translating information so colleagues understand “what this means to me.”

  3. Project management experience with large change management initiative or a startup.

  4. Ability to establish expectations, timelines and deliver results through a high level of collaboration – an influencer.

  5. Excellent visual, oral and written communication skills required.

  6. Experienced in prioritization with demonstrated ability to be effective in reacting positively and quickly to at times sudden and unpredictable change.

  7. Organizes facts, ideas, and evidence logically and presents ideas clearly.

  8. Highly professional, results driven, with strong desire to continue learning to broaden knowledge and solve problems.

 
 
 

Mental & Physical Demands:

 
  1. Must be able to pass a pre-employment health and drug screening at time of hire.

  2. Occasionally required to stand or walk. Frequently required to sit in a stationary position. Occasionally performs activities that require stooping, bending and reaching, squatting, balancing, and trunk twisting throughout the day

  3. Desire to hear and respond to feedback in addition to the ability to coach and mentor others inside and outside the team.  Provides constructive feedback effectively.

  4. A reputation for discretion, integrity, judgment, responsiveness, and strong attention to detail.

  5. Credible, adaptable, and someone who demonstrates strong initiative and ownership.

  6. The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environment conditions.

 
 

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field is required.

 

Experience: 4-8 years of experience in the Communications field (agency experience is a plus).
